I took my M&P9c to the range today. It's already got about 1200 rounds of FMJ fed and fired, without any non-user-induced hiccups. I took 4 boxes of defensive rounds: 3 JHPs from Federal, CorBon, and Remington, and a box of expanding flat-nose Jacketed rounds that I'd had when I was in NJ (not a hollowpoint, or even firearm-friendly state).

It ate all 4 boxes with no problems. I've heard a few owners mention that their pistols won't feed JHPs well, but mine has been running like a champ since I purchased it in July. I've decided, based on POA-POI differences, recoil, and a couple of other factors, that Golden Sabers are my chosen defensive round for this pistol. Nice groupings, heavier bullet weight (147gr), and cuts very clean holes in paper -- just like I hope it never has to do in a person.

God bless Smith & Wesson
That is all.

I've been thinking of trying out Corbon Dpx bullets, but they are insanely expensive. At over a dollar a bullet.
