i vote for the xd40. and if you wanna shoot 9mm you can buy a barreel and you got 2 guns in 1.

just make sure you get the new models with the melonite finish.

I voted M&P 9 compact before I seen Target/Competition. I was thinking your compact could compliment and backup your full size by using the full size magazines in the compact. As for Target/Competition I have no idea.

My new vote would be for the M&P40, at least until the performance center M&P9 long slide is available.
