It was on so tight some how i put a scratch on it!!! can these be bought threw s&w?

It will loosen up the more you take it out. My compact was easier to get out than the full due to the larger piece of plastic on the end.

Take out your mag, empty the chamber, check the chamber again. Then find a table or countertop with a 90 degree edge (not rounded or routed). Place the base of the grip on the side of the surface with the grip tool hanging off of the top edge....Twist the gun while pressing down on the take down tool. That was really hard to explain.
