Ever since I saw the m&p compacts I have been wanting one real bad!!!! I went to a couple local shops yesterday and of course none of them have it, and I brought in my taurus to negotiate but why acquire a gun if they are not getting rid of one of their own... I am afriad I will have to go to atlanta and then more money for buying in atl. of course.. anybody know where i can maybe get a good trade, plus a good deal so I can proudly have a m&p family????

Buds is where I am getting mine. I did a "buy now" at auctionarms.com. $400 plus $25 shipping to my local dealer who will do the transfer for $25. I am still way ahead of the game. Local gun shops in my area are selling the 40c for give or take $550 plus sales tax.

I am gonna start crying

I have been to EVERY local gun shop in my area just to see the compact and get a price range out of 6 different shops in 3 towns there is nothing the only thing I hear is "I can order you one" well before I order and pay more let me see it, hold it and get a general feeling I am buying a sophisticated woman not a prostitute COME ON!!!!

I don't know. I keep thinking about Bangkok. Of course they were always in stock (not that I inquired of course).
