So I am going to go the other way here. Lets put aside the whys for a moment (forgive this bored insomniac :wink: ).



One has a M&P9 without the internal lock and wants to add one. Would it be as simple as swapping out the existing sear housing block, removing the filler pin (part name?) and adding a standard sear housing block w/ IL & MD?



This setup seems to work for removing the IL/MD so one would think...



Thoughts. Y/N

Yes, you could just install the block with the IL, but you would also need to purchase a "key" for it, as I don't think it would come with one.

If you do go ahead with installing the Internal Lock, I wouldn't mind buying the little "plug" from you that fills the hole in the frame where the key goes in.

Thanks YG! I don't know if S&W will ship to Canada :roll: as most companies won't these days, but I'll give it a shot.
