Fired about 75 rounds through it today. Great Gun. I have a Sig 226, 9mm, thats real sweet. Took about 20 rounds to get used to the compact. Recoil was learned real fast and didnt present a problem. The trigger is nice but longer than the Sig, again, no problem, just different. It took a bit getting used to but it was a pleasure and real fun to shoot. I am much more acurate with my Sig but I really liked the M&P. I think the M&P is more fun! With some more practice I'll get it down good. While I had about 4-5 inch goups from about 30 yards with Sig I got about 4-7 inch groups with the M&P with a few stray shots. The longer and heavier trigger pull had me pulling on the gun a bit.

The M&P is a great gun with a nice design, Its going to be my CCW. I thik I may order a Milt Sparks VM2 for it. (Just hate to wait so long!

S&W has a great line of pistols, don't they? I fell in love with the full-sized M&P - it was a rental gun that had seen over 40k rounds, and the trigger was

the nicest of ANY firearm I've ever fired. It did have the mag drop problem, but I countered that by placing the base pad in my supporting hand. Can't drop the mag if you've got something holding it up

Now my 9c is my favorite pistol, though it is my least expensive one. Go figure.

The difference in accuracy that you're experiencing may be brought by the shorter barrel length. The MPc's barrel is only 3.5" compared to the Sig 226's 4.4" barrel. But w/ practice, I'm sure your pistol's trigger pull will lighten and accuracy will improve

I'm thinking of ordering another set of trigger bar, sear, striker, etc, so I can do my own trigger job, yet not void the warranty by screwing with the original parts. It wouldn't be very expensive, but it's a CYA type of thing. Worst case scenario, I put the originals back in because I dislike it
