hey all, I just bought myself a new toy. savage mkII .22 lr. I took this thing out saturday and fell in love with it. I have never shot a .22 until this weekend. this thing is pretty dang accurate for $114. I ended up going to megalomart today and bought a little scope for it. I can't believe how much fun I had for so little money. It cost me more for the range and gas than what I spent in ammo. $11 for 550 rounds. Thats just awesome. I took 200 rounds for my mp40 with me and only ended up shooting 30. Here she is, what do you think? Do any of you plink around a .22 rifle? please post pics of yours.

Real slick,

My stepdad has a plunker 22 and last time at the range we had a mini competition. He paid 49.00 for it like 15 years ago it is still in great shape it has got more varmit kills than my 10 year driving record

Everybody should have a 22 rifle and pistol. They are the best starting point for any new shooter. Enjoy it and share the fun with someone that hasn't figured it out yet.

I've got several 22's, a few marlin mod. 60's, and 2 ruger 10/22's. Nothing beats a .22 for good cheap fun.

I do however have a Ruger M77 MK2 in a .338 win mag. Took it out this past weekend to test it out and loved every shot. Still waiting on a scope/rings but couldn't help but shoot it!

And my MKIII "XXX"

I think everyone needs a few .22 running around, I loved them as a kid and have a new found interest in them todat, as a big kid...

Morgan, you have the sweetest .22s in the world. i was going to get a 22/45 after seeing your other posts, but after seeing your 10/22, i think im in love.
