I purchased a second one as I got a good deal on the LE set up (night sights, 3 mags, no mag disconnect or lock) and it sits in the safe doing nothing.

I love my M&P9 that I shoot all the time but the second one is a "just in case" thing I got a good deal on. I really wish I got the .40 this time instead. At least I would have somthing a little different and the ability to go .357 also.

Does anyone know if I can purchase a new slide and barrel in .40 yet like we can with Glock? It might make it worth keeping if I can convert it over to a true .40.

Their was a previous post on this subject and the conclusion was that at this point it is not cost effective to go that route. The total for a whole new slide assembly would run about the same as a new M&P.

Oh yeah, I just remembered that 1enforcer wanted to trade his NIB .40 for my 9 when I was trying to sell it. You may want to check with him to see if he is still interested.

i would say to sell it and use the funds for your purchase of a 40
