Asked Crimson trace if they are working on laser grips for the M&P. They said they are getting requests for a laser for a M&P's. I think maybe a laser thats like the grip they have for the glock, or have a backstrap attached laser. I personally like crimson trace. What about you??

Back strap might be simplest application, but I wonder if there isn't just enough movement to make it hard to keep a zero on the laser.

My pref. would be a laser that fits on the rail. But would like to see one that integrates well with the lines of the pistol. As an example, the factory laser offered for the Walther P22 is a beauty. Fits flush with the trigger guard and its hard to tell that it wasn't part of the original frame.

Just my .02 worth.

The "backstrap" type on the Glocks are held in place with a replacement for the existing rear pin, so there shouldn't be any movement of the laser.

The problem with a rail mount or trigger guard mount is that a special holster is then needed. The "backstrap" or internal lasers fit in standard holsters.
