New TX member who just had my first day at the range recently. Being a left hander did some research about left handed handguns and the M&P came up. If I can learn all of the basics of prepping (?) the new full size .40 before hitting the range we'll see if I can get the groupings to show up on the paper

Nothing special needed for being a lefty with the M&P.

I just use my left index finger to hit the mag release. It's got to be off the trigger anyway.

If you're a thumb die-hard, then move the release to the other side.

I share my M&P with a "rightie" so I left it stock.

Hello from yet another lefty M&P owner.

I use my left index finger for mag release as well. Found the reach too long for the left thumb.
