It's ok to own a SW9VE and a MP40. I have both and each has it's own use. I'll buy a compact whenever anyone is selling them in the North Dallas area at a decent price. 8)

Dry fire. Dry fire. Dry fire. I think you might have gotten a little lucky getting a bullie off the first shot...

I was having low-left consistently. After an extensive period of dry firing and practicing correct trigger technique I couldn't make it happen at the range (4th trip with this gun). Love it!

p.s. I was able to get a bullie at 50ft on maybe my 5th or 6th of 10 rounds. More luck than anything.

Torn between the mp .40 cal and the sig p226, any (somewhat) objective advice? Looking for a reliable, easy on-target, somewhat affordable semiauto...Love my Model 19 .357!!!

I shot the sig with a friend of mine a few weeks ago. It is a great gun and shot very well. It had some issues with old reloads (gunshow) ammo (2-3 FTE for each mag) but shot full power nicely. For me, the M&P fit much better in my hands and I felt more comfortable with it. MY choice is the M&P, but you should hold (and hopefully shoot) both before you make your choice.
