Can anyone recommend a low cost holster for my 9mm full size? This will be for our steel plates shoots. I use a Blackhawk CQC holster for my 1911s but an even lower cost holster would be wonderful. I'll look into higher quality holsters for carry at a latter date.

I've got this one from Uncle Mikes, it works fine for me, and it fits my rather small budget! The page says it's for a Glock, but it fits my MP40 just fine. You can probably find one of these in your local area and not have to pay Midways shipping charges.

Thanks, John. I'll bet good, ol' Uncle Mike will get the job done. For the benefit of others, Uncle Mikes' numbers for the M&P from their website is 5317-1 rt hand belt slide and 5417-1 lft hand paddle. They make holsters for lefties, too.

All I had to do was adjust the tension screws, it looked like the holster was made for it. Back when I got the holster Uncle Mikes didn't have any listings for the MP pistols at all.

I too am using an Uncle Mikes and am very happy with it. My mp fits in it just fine. not a bad inexpensive holster.

Why not just get the Blade tech revolution ?

Life is too short to use cheap holsters. Use good quality-the Blade-Tech revolution is the absolute MINIMUM. I personally prefer leather from Matt Del Fatti, but the holster is not an area to be skimpy.

Thanks for the comments on holsters so far. The Revolution looks to be a pretty good holster (thanks for the tip) and I like my Blackhawk for my 1911s so might consider one for my M&P.



I will be looking into a higher quality, IWB holster for CCW when I get time. Everyone at our steel plate matches use OWB holsters.
