Hi! I'm new here so be easy. I've been viewing for a long time but recent happenings have made me join so I can post. First of I'm the proud owner of a M&P 15T (500 rounds and not a single problem), and a M&P 40, (1500 rounds and again, not a single problem). So naturally I should have a M&P 40c, right? So I did it and ordered one from Bud's Gun shop, $399.00! My FFL called yesterday and said it was in but it looked really unusual and I probably wouldn't be happy with it. Today was the viewing. Both sides of the dust cover were double stamped! Yes the logo, M&P....the works. Now comes for the question part. Do I:

1) Send the gun back to Bud's for replacement?

2) Accept the gun and return to S&W on my dime?

3) Accept the gun and sell it for it's one-of-a-kind value?

I think whatever I do it's going to cost ME because that's the way it seems to go anymore. Why me?

My FFL has taken some pictures but has yet to e-mail them to me. If you're really interested on them let me know and I'll try to figure out how to attach them. Thanks for all the help in advance.........

I have one that's double stamped also, trying to figure out anything about it.

They will probably become high dollar collector items in a few years if not many were produced.



If they shoot good what does it matter while you wait for the big bucks?
