M&P-9 Pro Series
Did anyone besides me see the M&P-9 Pro Series pistol at the Shot Show? It appears to be a competition ready version. It had a longer barrel and slide, a fiber optic front sight, a black rear sight, and a slightly improved trigger job.

I saw it. The trigger felt a bit lighter and more positive reset than the standard M&P. The front sight is green fiber and the rear Novak sits higher than the standard M&P, appeared to be another proprietary S&W only Novak sight. I think it's a winner, ready for IDPA or USPSA Production class.

This particular gun at the SHOT Show was a Prototype Put together at the Performance Center as a starting Point for this gun!! The final version that will go into production will look nothing like this sample!! But..... Maybe the Performance Center Version might retain some characteristics of this particular prototype.
A Performance center version of this gun would be really cool.
