I have a M&P 9c when I lock the slide back to disassemble it I always have to hold the take down lever in the down position with my thumb in order to remove the slide. The lever acts like it is spring loaded. I own a total of (5) M&P's and this is the only one that does this. Has anyone else ever experienced

It's pretty normal and to be expected based on the spring-loaded guide rod engagement with the take down lever. Photos self explanatory.

I do not have to do that with my 40c. Wonder why the difference?

I don't to have to do it with all my m&P's either. It must be some small tolerance stacking differences of parts and spring tension enigma.
