Well, for what its worth, Ive got my M&P-9.

The test fire date was 5-5-06 (cinco de Mayo).





All the 9mm updates/discussion/reviews have been on the S&W forum.

I guess pub for this forum has disappeared.

Went to the show this past weekend. Lots of 9s and 40s.

I think the lowest price I saw was $459.





Yeah, we should promote this place more.

The places I mainly hit are Smith-wessonforum, glocktalk, and the XD forum. There is interest in the M&P at those places.

I purchased one back in mid-May. The front sight was loose and I returned to S&W. It returned Monday with nice bright tritium sights that were PROPERLY fit - not the slight peening job that indicates that someone made a boo boo cutting the front dovetail. Very nice pistol. And I'm very pleased that they purchased oversized front sights to make it work - yes, I compared the originals to the one on the pistol now.



No need to purchase anything Austrian now... 8)

I plan on purchasing a 9mm as soon as I sell my 40cal. As far as sights go, I was not impressed with the regular white dot sights so I'm considering the night sights this go round. Anyone have a comparison story or comments on the night sights?

I have learned to point shoot in low light conditions. Works pretty well to.
