I know there are a lot of former and current G27 owners on this forum. How does the M&P compact fit in the G27 holsters? I need a ankle holster and I just want to know if they are close enough in size so that I can get a universal or non-model specific ankle holster that would fit a G27.

choochboost, for me, it seems to be hit and miss as to whether the holster for the G27 will fit or not. I have a Galco NSAII ( http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterG3.asp?Produ...17&GunID=51 ) for the G27 that fits the compact pretty well. Also a Bianchi Model 100 Professional ( http://www.bianchi-intl.com/product/Prod.php?TxtModelID=100 ) that fits OK, but not great. It seems to me that one of the biggest differences is that the M&P compacts have a light rail where the G27 does not. You might look at the Galco ankle holster.
