I have a M&P 9mm which gripsize is about the same size as the grip size on the small .45 M&P. I have small hands and have been looking at the .45 M&P but if I put on the small grip will that fit my hand? How do the grip size of the M&P compare to the grip size on the Springfield XD .45?

I know you are asking about the XD but I have both the M&P9 and the M&P45. I have very short fingers so size is important to me also.



The medium grip on the M&P9 is about the same as the small on the M&P45.



On another note. The M&P45 with the small grip is very close to the XD.40.

If necessary, you can always use it without a backstrap and get Burwell to fill it in.
