FYI,

Brownells is now selling the M&P Sear Housing Block Assembly Without the Magazine Safety and No Internal Lock!!

I just ordered 2!!

Part Number 940-000-982

So, if your M&P has the Mag Safety, you can easly fix that now!!

This is a good feature to have if you shoot IDPA or IPSC, you don't need to have a Spare Empty Magazine to perform the Unload & Show Clear Sequence on both sports!!

If you take out the lever you can use a ball point pen spring, or a piece of an old striker spring. I'd get your 20$ back and I'll find you the thread of how to do it.

I saw this post, and decided to order a couple for myself. I wanted to do a trigger job, but was afraid of screwing up. For $25 or so, you couldn't go wrong I figured. Well, I received my package from Brownells today. Instead of two sear housing block assemblies, I received two rear sights! I was a little peeved, until I notived that they were rear NIGHT sights. The package is clearly marked "390900000 Sear Housing Block Assembly" with another 940-000-982 underneath. But they both have a rear night sight. '06 dated trijicon. What do ya think, should I keep them?

Same thing happened to me!!

I got two too!!

I'm returning mine, first is the honest thing to do and they are my clients too!!

They are aware of their SNAFU!!

Contact Dana Watkins, she will enter a Memo Return for you!!

I really wanted my parts this week too!! I was going to send the Gun to dan Burwell for the exchange and a Trigger Job next week while I recovered from Surgery!!

saw your post on BEnos as well. I jsut took everything out...no spring needed.

That's the way I was told to do it. Just leave everything out, the pin, both levers and the spring. It does require that you dryfire the pistol to disassemble.

I did this to both of my M&P9 and it's worked great.

Hey, what did you decide to do??

Did you decide to return the sights??

I did, they made a MEMO Credit and when the parts came in they cleared the MEMO Credit and shipped me the 2 Sear Blocks, the only problem is that I never got them!! Shomehow the Product got mixed up at Brownells and the Merchandise never left the building!! Did you get any extra Sear Blocks from Brownells??? With my name on them??

Same situation here, I hear the no MS sear block is on backorder untill after the 23 nov.

Well, they got some on the 8th of Nov, the problem is that they picked them, invoiced them and by some fluke of nature, the first time ever for me at Brownells in over 15 years, the product just vanished!!

The only thing they can come up with is that they put my rpoduct in someone elses box and they shipped my product to them!!

I just hope that the other person returns the product to Brownells.

They have just created another memo for me and they will ship my blocks again to me when they get them back in stock!!
