Anyone know if S&W plans to make a Sub-Compact Version of the M&P?

If your asking if they plan on making a version smaller than the 3.5" compact

I very much doubt it. (but you never know)

Yes but it's called a compact. as in 9c or 40c and hopefully soon 45c. I own a 9c and 40c and they are great shooters and easy to carry.

No but I held one at at the last show I was at, and I have the M&P .45. At only 1 inch length and 1 inch height difference does not seem like much of a scaldown to me. I was thinking of making this pistol...(Link below) my next CC. It does not come out till next month and i would rather have the M&P version in Sub-Compact, if they are going to make one. well I guess I can't link a url until I have atleast 2 post...sigh....see next post for the link.

I have a thread started in the non-smith forum about that

PX4 Storm sub-compact.

Something that caught my eye is that little "sub-compact" holds one

more round than my M&P 9c.

So smaller yes but may in fact be a little thicker.

I'm keeping my eye out for the new Walther pps.

(i LOVE my 9c but can be a little "bulky" for daily carry)

I'm a lefty so some of the pocket pistolas's safeties turn me off. :?

Yes...The Walther is a sweet handgun. I think I would like the .40 version that comes out early next year. Its going to be a hard decision to make, unless there is going to be a Sub-Compact M&P then it will be easy choice.
