Well I have a question for all you. On the original buttstock of the M&P 15 series, did anyone have an issue on how loose and noisy the butstock actuator, or detent lever was and does anyone have a fix?

Thanks

The Magpul (or Vltor) would be a big improvement over the stock S&W buttstock. Most of the standard M4 buttstocks like the one that came on your S&W have a little rattle to them. I'm so used to it now I don't even notice it.

You can knock out the roll pin and tighten the screw, just keep on making sure it doesn't get too tight. I had to get a new pin after knocking it out, it is stubborn to remove. The noise/looseness is not an issue anymore.

I appreciate it, but for the quick fix I used velcro tape, seems to have worked for the moment. But I will keep your idea in mind.
