Took the M&P45 to the range yesterday. Gotta say, this is a nice and accurate hole punch. I just wish I'd had more time and ammo

I'll be more than willing to use the M&P45 for HD use and I'm thinking of trying out OC with it. Got a Blackhawk CQC Serpa carbon fiber holster for it. Nice, fits well and retains the gun without being difficult to draw from.

I don't think you'll be disappointed. After that range trip the M&P 45 has become my go to gun. I am using it for my home defense gun (night stand) and have begun to carry openly when my wife and I walk.

Now I want the 14rd mags for it....waiting and waiting and waiting....

...and now the MP 45 has surface rust on it. It cannot be my fault...I wipe it down, strip and lube, regularly. Still there was light surface rust on the slide and barrel hood.

I really like this weapon, so if S&W will fix the finish on the gun, I will continue to like it
