I'm getting tired of it... In both my mags on the 12th round it starts to jingle... on both mags that I have. Different rounds don't help. Practicing clearing drills today, and my mag in the pistol, and in the pouch are jingling away, dead giveaway to my posiition.

anyone else have this problem? btw its a 40.. hi-cap

Read your thread and tried both my mags. On the 12th round both mags jigle. Tried all the rounds and it only does it on the 12th. Thats weird. Took the mag apart and it looks like it could use a stronger factory spring. Im going to try and see if I have any other springs that might work just to try it out.

One of my fully loaded mags sound like there is a round loose. When I push the mag home I get a jigle. I haven't tried the other one yet. Doesn't seem to affect performance but it is a little aggrevating. I'm going to rack through the mag to see when it stops. Update later.....

So far I put about 400 150's through it, and not a burp.. I needed to trust this ammo before I'd ever carry it daily..

I like my handloads.. I tuned them to fit my dads USP and my M&P.

The hydras work well.. I don't like any of the factory range ammo through the chrono they are to spread out.

Hey jester when did you get your gun ? The reason I asked is because S&W changed the mag design a little bit from the original. We still have'nt gotten them but I'm told the finish is different (parkerized finish I think ) and some internal changes were made. However my rep either would'nt say or didnt know what they were.

If you have the original mags with the shiny finish you may want to call S&W and see if they'll exchange them for you.

good luck

I just got my pistol back from S&W today, it came with a magazine I didn't send out with it. It was still shiny. Other than being greasier than the other mags I have aquired, it looks the same. Shiny blued finish.

Has anyone seen the redesigned mags. I asked S&W if they did anything to change the mags and they told me no. Hopefully they did and the person I talked too just didnt know at the time.
