Is it just the DS's or do the singles do that also?

Lightly squish the front of the mag, it'll take up some of that gap (and potentially cause feeding problems). Or, stop shaking your mags and keep the reliability.

They all rattle when fully loaded, and not just M&P mags.

When he said all, he probably meant all.

A small piece of loop velcro applied at the base of the mag will fix the rattle. Just make sure that you check that the empty mag will fall free.

Is your hearing really good enough to hear it when you're carrying? LOL

the rattle is a good thing, especially if you get lost and fall down--just shake the M&P 40 allot so the rescue team can locate your position...JUST KIDDING...well kind-of... :D:D:D

Unfortunately it can't be fixed. The rattle comes from the bullets rattling inside your magazine. Test: take a full in your hand depress the top bullet a little and shake. You'll notice it rattles, now release and shake, no rattle. When the mag is seated in the gun the bullets are depressed a little releasing the middle bullets in the mag to rattle. Will not cause any malfunctions.

I've seen the same question/response on the CZ Forum quite a few times.

Some pistols/mags/calibers do it, others don't.
