Does anyone make magazine "buffer pads" (rubber base plate pads) for the M&P standard mags yet? I shot a match last night at an indoor range and saw a Glock mag explode when it hit the floor. I'd like to avoid that with the M&P mags since they tend to be a little hard to come by right now. I know you can get rubber pads for 1911 mags and such, and was hoping someone made them for the M&P.

Thanks.

That's a good idea, I also have a tendency to not drop magazines on the concrete for that same reason. If someone does make them, I am sure they will make a ton...

I don't know if there are commercial ones.

You can make very functional ones by cutting out some neoprene (mouse pads!) and gluing it with contact cement to the existing baseplate.

Genius idea!

Now I just hope that none of the Rule Nazi RO's get worked up over the idea of my mags having neoprene pads on the bottom.

Seems like you could use pieces of moleskin with the exact same results.
