Alright here is a topic that could go different ways.. Me and a friend were talking about local gun laws and this came up on the form to purchase a firearm there is that block that asks if you have ever been diagnosed with a mental disease... Now here is the fun part PTSD (post traumatic stress disorder) is a disorder not a disease that you are not born with but are diagnosed because of a traumatic event that you have witnessed (beyond your control). Would that be enough to red flag someone from purchasing a firearm now where he lives in Ohio and currently going through the police academy he said that it is illegal for someone with a mental disease to purchase a firearm... Your thoughts and please play fair :wink:

If you put yes down, and it's a disorder [not a disease] wouldn't you be lying?

I think you should pay very close attention to the variations of law that are occuring around you. Join the NRA and the GOA. This will help make your decision...
