Well today I got some trigger time in with my new acquisition, the MP40 M2.0 Compact with 4" barrel. It was the first time I ever fired it and the first time to fire a pistol of any type is 3 + years.
I have to say I was more than favorably impressed. I like the feel of the trigger, especially how one knows when the slack is taken up.
I like the sights which make for good target acquisition.
The recoil, or lack thereof, was a pleasant surprise.
With the very first mag I was able to put 12 of 13 rounds in the black at 8 yds. I left the range quite satisfied after firing 65 rounds at 8 and 25 yds..
I am attaching pics of the targets. I do not claim to be a sharpshooter, but I gained a little confidence in terms of fending off bad guys.
