This is a great idea. Having the ability to run your emergency generator on gas, propane or natural gas give you a better chance of being able to use that generator. This sounds like a good kit to install and it seems pretty easy to do.

A few factors to consider, Power desity of fuels, Gasoline is the winner a gallon of gas has more energy in it than the same volume of other fuels, so don't expect the fuel economy or the full power output. So if your expecting full output from your genset you may not get it,

Bet allot of the folks waiting in lines with their gas cans would want to have known about this. I'm thinking the line at the propane tank refill station is much shorter and propane can be refilled without electricity. The idea wasn't what gives you the most power per gallon or pound it was having the ability to use several fuel choices in case your first choice wasn't available. After seeing wha tis going on after Sandy we have a perfect example of why that might be a good idea.
