Check out the new 4006TSW for the CHP. Its on the Sig forum, And man is that one sweet pistol. I hope that S&W make it available for civilian purchase after they outfit the CHP. No more bolt on accesory rail, a one piece machined slide. SWEET!!!

If they could just lower the slide into the frame an 1/8" to 1/4" so the bore would be lower...

They compansate with the weight of a steel frame. But I dont know how the 4003 shoots. Either way I want one!!

I love my M&P40.. But I really miss my old 4006... It was my very first pistol that I bought on my own.. I had to sell it for financial reasons...

Buds Gunshop had a new 4006TSW for the longest time.. When I finally got my bonus check.. It was sold.. Ever since then I have been on the hunt for one.. Very good pistol.. Very reliable.. Just VERY heavy.. LOL

The 4006 was my second handgun (686 1st) and I still have it today!! If you run out of ammo you could throw it at them and it would be lethal!!

My 4006 was also my first pistol I bought for myself. In 1996 I think. I was 17, my granny done the paperwork for me. It was after our house got broken into and they cleaned out our firearms. I still have it today and love it even though I pack revolvers (65-3 3") more these days.
