This intrigues me so much that I'm going to handle one tomorrow and if it feels and operates like it looks it will be going home with me. I've wanted a pistol calber carbine for years but haven't been impressed by any enough to buy one until now.

Ok, went to my LGS and saw one in person and really liked it. Bad news was he only had one and another customer was about to purchase it. The guy ( his name is John ) gladly offered me to handle her and get a feel of the carbine which was really nice of him. I got to completely check her out and decided upon completion to order one, thankfully he has 3 more coming in on the 23rd so only have to wait 10 days or so. I really like the fact that you can fold up with an optic mounted and has a really nice carry case to keep everything together. I hope this is a win for S & W, from what I've seen it should be. I'll post pics when I get her followed by a range report, weather permitting.

If you don't mind telling, was the price MSRP or were they getting a premium price? I saw one on a gun site for $1396, about double the MSRP. With the demand for that model, I'm wondering if LGS are asking more.

Thanks.
No, actually I was surprised it was 699. I think msrp is 675 or close to it, he is a small local gun shop out here in the semi sticks and have never known them to gouge their prices.

That's fair. Thanks for letting me know. Have you decided on an optic? I'll be waiting for your range report.
Cheers!
Not yet, im not that savvy with those type of sights. I have to research this some more because I may want a holographic for my M&P10MM too so hope to purchase both at the same time.
