Came across this great website researching for a M&P9 compact during my now 5 month wait for a CCW permit. Should only be another month at most

I'm actually glad I haven't got it yet as I would have bought a Springfield XD (and not found this website) and being left-handed I like the ambidextrous slide release on the M&P.

Just an update. After 5 months, 3 weeks the letter from the Sheriff's Dept. arrived and my permit (full carry, no restrictions) was ready to be picked up. But not before I stopped by the gun shop and ordered an M&P40c

Happy to finally join the club.
