Don't tell me I'm going to have to spend MORE money towards flashlights! But I think I'll wait a bit to see what other companies come out with.

It's just incredible how the technology is developing for LEDs, a few years ago nobody would have believed what is already being done with them!

Does anyone know if these have a momentary pushbutton for handgun use? From what I can see it is an on/off pushbutton (or if you do momentary press it changes to the next mode).

What they really need to do is make a high/low setting selected by clicking the bezel right or left, then be able to use the momentary push button like on surefires to turn on momentarily or permanently. That was you could use it as a general purpose light on low, or a gun light on high.

love my P1D for EDC. However this sucker would be perfect if it had one mode be the goofy incremental modes, and the other just be a tactical momentary on.

I'll still probably buy one. I've been very happy with the p1d, and the price is right.
