Every person that has posted with a M&P .40c, that has also shot a G27, says the recoil of the M&P is less than the G27. Recoil is subjective, and is very different from shooter to shooter.
I have been in many discussions about shooting .40 and 357Sig in the same pistol. It's amazing how different the recoil is for different people.
