Grettings to all at mp-pistol.com. I've been shooting the .40S&W round in S&W pistols since they first hit the market. I've owned six: 4006, 4014, 4003, 4006 again, Sigma, and 4013TSW. I think the 4003 was my favorite. Until now. It's maybe still too soon to tell (only 400 rounds so far), but this new S&W M&P40 may well just become my number one choice of them all. Sure, it's a full size and a tad more of a challenge to conceal. But remember, I carried those bigger Smiths for years, and this one is much lighter on the hip. The test is gonna be the "learning curve" with the M&P format. I'm reading here (and elsewhere) about the breakage and etc. But again, remember that I went through all that back in the '80s when S&W first put their new round in their pistols out in the field. So hello to all you other folks out here "on point" with the new M&P. Let's see how this shakes out. I really appreciate the forum and all the input.
