New member. I purchased a M&P9 from Buds over the weekend. I got one without a lock or mag safety as I plan on competing in IDPA events with it and I didn't like the idea of putting a magazine back into the pistol to pull the trigger on an empty chamber.
I am having the pistol sent directly to Dan Burwell for a trigger job and media blast. Dan has been real nice to deal with and I hear great things about his work. This will save me about $30 in shipping charges (me to him) and I will only have to get used to the new trigger. The only down side is that I will not be able to check if the pistil was working properly before the mods. I will assume that the operation of the gun is sound. I should get everything in about a month.
