I am a Firefighter/Medic in the NKY area. I am a medic for a local SRT team. I am in the process right now of buying my first gun. I am leaning more toward the 1911 right now, but I'm pretty sure if I don't change my mind at the last second and get a M&P today, I will have one in the near future. I enjoy reading the forum here and like the comments I am seeing for the most part on this gun. You have a great thing going here! Keep up the good work!!

I was in the same boat, looking at 1911s, from several makers than discovered the M & P 40 by accident. I am very happy with the M & P. Still looking at the 1911s.
