New member here. Just picked up an M&P 9 this last Saturday.
Let me first say that I am not a fan of Glocks or XD's and polymer pistols in general. I was looking for a 9mm to help offset the cost of .45 that I've been shooting. I picked up the M&P and man did it feel good in my hand. So I took the plunge and picked it up.
At the range this thing just pointed so naturally and was damn accurate. I was very impressed with the groups I was getting. The trigger wasn't great but it is still decent. I will be sending it off for a trigger job once I get more rounds downrange.
I usually go through handguns pretty quickly and only have a few that are keepers but this one is definitely a keeper. Now I'm thinking I want a compact for carry.
IMO these are far better that Glock's and XD's.
