I'm new to this forum and thank all who help.

I have a new mp 40 and love it, but I would like to get a kydex paddle holster to carry for it, I looked at some that were mentioned here but does anyone know of others?

I like the comp-tac and also the talontactical.

Can someone give me feedback on how they like one of the two.

And how the MP fits and the comfort of the holster on them?

I like my Talon Tactical, it's fast, comfortable. You can't go wrong with Comp-Tac either, they make high quality rigs.

I'd say all 3 are nice, it just depends on the wait time. blade tech is about 6 weeks, comp tac is whoever has them instock, and talon I'm not sure of.
I usually run two weeks delivery on holsters. I have several M&P holsters in-stock most days.

Mike's a lefty, so he can make wrong handed holsters.
Mike,

Do you have a tuckable IWB for the M&P 40?

Mark
I do have several left hand holsters forthe M&P here but I do not make a tuckable IWB

I do make a more or less traditional IWB holster..

Mike,

I was lookin at the picture of your holster and had this question:

It looks like a hollow space below the trigger gaurd is that correct and why is it?
that is where the retention screws are. you can tighten them up for a tighter pistol hold, or loosen them for the opposite.
There is no hollow space. Those are two black screws.

But if you're talking about something else
, the holster is open along the trigger guard. It is folded in half at the top of the slide.

Thats what I was asking that it is folded in half and has a opening under the the trigger guard.
That's normal, all kydex holsters are that way.
Not all I have a fobus and all sides are sealed, I think desantis is sealed on all sides.
Fobus are injection molded. These are wrapped, mostly by hand.

Any high quality kydex holster you find will be like blade tec.
Open on one side is better. It means you can usually adjust it easily.

I've had fobus, and fine tuning one of them is a huge PITA. NOt to k]mention they don't wear very well.
