Just found this forum last night - what a great find. And no leadfoot doesn't mean I have shot myself in the foot but relates to how I drive! Just bought my M&P .40cal on November 17th. Waiting for my damn ATT to be able to take it home. Damn government!
A few questions:
How do I know when the gun was manufactured? I was to make sure I have a 2nd generation model?
Does anyone have a picture of the new extended slide stop? Sounds good. The gun I bought has a stiff slide release and guy said it would loosen up but I am not convinced.
The wife got the Walther P99 9mm which is another sweet gun....also waiting for her ATT.
For those that do not know an ATT (Authorization To Transport) is issued by the government in Cnada that allows one to actually transport the gun. This one is a temporary on that only allows it from the shop to my house. I need a permanent one from the gun club to the house which will come once I have finished my probation at the club.
Looking forward to hanging out here!
