Sounds great YukonGlocker. I really like the Warren rear sight, but I have no experience at all with the HiViz sights. They look nice! I am very interesting in one of the TRUGLO TFO sights (http://www.truglo.com/content/products/firearm/handgun_sights/handgun_sights.asp ) when they become available for the M&P. I would put one on the front. It seems that it may be the best of both worlds to me.

The Warren sight is very nice. You should get a nice and fast sight picture with your new set up. I am looking forward to hearing more!

YUKONGLOCKER....

were the sights easy to install? I just got mine. The Warren sight will be a tight fit as well as the front. Did you have to modify them to get them to fit? I'm very disappointed about the finish on the Warren tatical sight. Most of it was not blued, so I will have to refinish it.

The Warren rear fit nicely. I was able to tap it in without much trouble.

The HiViz front was very tight. I had remove a little metal off of the dovetail to get it in.

Very nice setup. My Warren slid in like butter. I am going to throw on the dawson precision here in a week or so when Jester gets them back in stock... Then probably replace that with a Truglo TFO once they come out. I cant wait to try it.

I tried to get a good pic of the sight picture. This proved to be difficult, especially with my crappy indoor lighting.

That's not a pink bedsheet I hope? No more need's to be said about that. HA!

Let us know how you like the setup when you've used it some more. I've been thinking of the same setup. It look's like the Warren sight has a wider U shape than the stock sights when aligned on the front sight. Has this affected your accuracy any (left or right)? Look's good from the pic's, except for all the pink sheet. Just kidding!!!!

I have the same setup and its oustanding. My only complaint is that the front site all but dissapears in low light environments, like the range. I think a Truglo TFO would solve this problem. If they make the Truglo to work with the stock rear, then it should work with the Warren correct? Or do sight makers change the heights to work with their own complete set?

I dont know. But I hope that they will come out with just a front that will work with many different rears. I dont really want to buy the entire set just to get the front.

Is TruGlo the only maker of TFOs? No TruGlos available (yet) for M&Ps, and I'd want a front only.

I installed a Dawson FO front on one of my Glocks and shot an IDPA match today. The site is very easy for these tired eyes to pick up, but like MoShooter said, it all but disappears in low light (indoor range, HOUSE, etc.).

Since all my guns are house/carry guns, I don't know if the FO is the best set up for me. I have a Dawson for my M&P as well, but haven't worked up the courage yet to go hammering on my slide (a gunsmith, I AIN'T!).

I'll be sticking with my 10-8 rear but I do like that front sight you've got there... might be something to look into

Nice pics, if you saw my pics in the 10-8 sight threads you know its from experience when I say that good sight picture pictures are very hard to take! And I had my gun in a bench vice when I too them!
