Who is going to send there M&P in to have the slide stop replaced with the slide release. I'm not sure if I want to part with my M&P for a couple of weeks. And does anyone like the slide release that have it. thanks for a pic finally. I'll probably be getting it as I'll be sending my gun in for warranty work. The striker sheered off just behind the head.

The extended release is not too obtrusive. Hmm, doesn't look like it would help that much. I will wait for a review before sending mine off.

Please explain what this is all about? My slide works fine, comes off in 10 seconds and gives me zero problems. Is this upgrade for everyone?

I got the new slide release on my 2nd M&P. It is vastly superior to the original. I used it for qualification, one stage of which requires a reload from slide lock. Normally slamming the magazine in drops the slide, but on one occasion it didn't, and I was able to drop the slide with the release with very little effort...



If you use it as a release as opposed to a stop, you'll want the new one.
