I just put in my new striker from Smith and my trigger pull feels heavier than it was, is it just me or is it really harder. I have been shooting my dads kimber for the last two days, so it's hard to tell.
Didn't S&W make the striker spring more weight (E.G. making it strike with more force to alleviate light primer strikes) in one of the revisions? Could that contribute? You have the old strike assembly and this is the new one?
That could be it, if that is the reason I wish I could have gotten another old one. I'm not sure if that is the deal here, but I didn't think the spring on the striker would really matter I thought the only factor that really determent the pull was the sear. Striker is polished in mine, but I just did that to make it slip a little easier over the sear.
