i finally got to put a few rounds through it and the recoil is hardly noticable to me. follow up shots were quick and on target. i think i have have found my perfect handgun. i had a model 411 .40 a few years ago that i regretted selling but it had more noticable recoil that i can remember. this is my first semi since. i've been carrying a rossi .357 mag since then and decided it was time for something different. i'm glad i made the purchase. i was looking at an xd 9 also but it didn't seem as well made to me.

Thanks for the info, the .40 recoil is really not bad either, i put about 150 rds thru it yesterday,it shoots great
