I'd bet that if you had one he didn't, and you wanted a nice wallpaper for your PC, he'd go out and buy one so he could take the pic!

By the way, my new M&P 9mm does not have the disconnect or the lock, but there is no warning on my slide like Dr. Lundes has.



Because I bought mine in GA?

The final 1 means 9mm. The initial 2 means two 17-round magazines. the 3 as the fourth digit means no magazine disconnect, no internal lock, and standard sights. Perhaps you have an early serial number, and S&W didn't start including the warning message, with regard to the lack of a magazine disconnect, until later. Just guessing...

Alot of dealers are selling the ones with disconnects at a discount . I would just buy one and remove the safety , thus no markings .

My new M&P 9mm, no lock and no mag disconnect, has no warning on the slide either. It is a recent serial number also.
