yup, I see it is offical now. That was the rumorr for a while. I wonder if the line "USSOCOM will no longer issue a Request for Proposal," means that even USSOCOM isn't looking for a new sidearm and just purchased whatever they wanted.

That really sucks for the guys in combat with those dinky 9mm pea shooters. The .45 in CQB rules! It ought never have been changed.
