How is the accuracy? I keep seeing people on this forum say they wish their M&P would shoot as accurately as their Shield Plus pistols.

I had an M&P 1st version, and it was not accurate at all.

This is very accurate for me, but I have bigger hands. I think that’s one reason why people like the shield, it’s easier to grip on due to the narrow build.

I love my compact, no issues putting rounds center mass at any distance.

I've been super impressed with the 4" Performance Center Shield Plus. I can put rounds thru the same holes. I have been tempted to buy a larger M&P. But then I remember what it was like with that 1st gen one... So, I always stop myself...

I think it’s just hand fit. I don’t believe the 2.0 will be much different for you since the grip is similar to the 1.0. The different back straps help, but not an insane amount.
I am with you, at 5-10yrs I can put them through the same holes with my shield or my compact, same with my CZ P07 actually. It’s further out that I need to work on my compact, but I also have thousands of rounds through my shield so that helps

Range day 1 for the 5" FDE 9mm...OK! As with my other pistols, it shoots a lot better than I do... :) I had forgotten how much I like the feel of the full sized M&Ps. They just fit right! I doubled some holes...Maybe more by luck than skill, but I was able to keep everything within a 4x5 oval @ 10 meters. Welcome to the tribe, desert devil!

What I’ve been carrying around for a few weeks until my compact holster arrives. I put 200rds down range and practiced reloads, I really like it, but it’s the wife’s so fun for me really.

Jay T, don't know where you're located but I had my 2.0 .45 acp Compact milled for the Holoson, milled for a new back up rear sight, had the night sights installed and slide nickel plated by a guy in NC. Very reasonable cost. Nice guy to talk to/work with and the pistol looks awesome. DP Custom Works, LLC. In case you decide to have that slide milled to get the dot lower/closer to the bore.

I'm about to pull the trigger on the SCS. Do you have any issues with the suppressor height sights? I imagine it's an absolute co-witness?
