The M&P45 is on the cover of the new Combat Handguns.

I haven't read the article yet but the cover shot sure is nice!

I thought it was a good article and any time the M&P gets some press it's good for us as well.

I think I might have to move the M&P45 up one position on my "buy list" now

When was the last time you read one that wasn't? That's generally how they are in gun mags. I wish we could see an honest critique every once in a while.

I agree. I have canceled almost all of my magazine subscriptions for this very reason. 99% of the articles, especially gun reviews, are worthless to me. Politics have ruined most popular magazines.

I enjoyed the article but I agree that you have to take them all with a large grain of salt and a tall glass of water. I have a hard time believing that every reviewer loves the "XYZ gun" so much that he decides to buy one for himself when he is done with the testing. Say what you will but they are all selling for their advertisers. I see more honest gun reviews online (Gunblast.com for example) and receive better information in forums such as this than I ever gain from reading a magazine article.

It was very refreshing to see them list many issues and problems with high dollar weapons.
