I think either is fine. I usually carry the 180 in full lenth pistols, and 155 in short barrel pistols.

What gun are you loading them in?

What particular bullet are you using?

I'm interested in both of these rounds. I too have heard great reviews about them. I read about a BG that shot three times the DPX out of a G23, and it rocked his world. All three rounds expanded and were found just behind his backs' skin (shot in the chest). Stoppingpower.net has great reviews about this load.

My problem is finding someone who actually carries these loads locally. I can pay an arm and a leg is I order them, but why pay 10.00 for shipping, that is half of a new box!

I noticed they currently list the 165 and 180gr .40 HST as out of stock; was this the case when you ordered yours? And if so, how soon were they able to deliver?

I ordered some 180gr. about a year ago. It took about a week to ship.
