We know that the beavertail of the M&P is not in line with the trigger but rather a bit higher, unlike the beavertails of other guns. Just wondering if anyone thought of padding the lower part of the beavertail so that when raising the gun from holster, it would more easily fit tightly on top of the web of the hand. Now I have to adjust it with my weak hand so the web of my strong hand sits tightly. It may not be an issue for some, but most of the time it is with me. Any thoughts or suggestions on this?

I'm not sure I've made the same observation. I think the beavertail in relation to the trigger is very comparable. I just compared it to the XD, Beretta 92FS, HK USP & P2000, and Glock. There is a noticeable different when compared to 1911s though. The Large backstrap will add some extra material under the beavertail if that fits your hand.
