S&W has almost everything on backorder it seems but they are apparently getting some stuff in now. Today they finally shipped my front sight (NS), fullsize mag buttplates (standard capacity), and mag catch. They said strikers should be shipped out later this week or next week. I wonder when I receive the rest of my backordered items. What I really want is that elusive sear housing assembly (No IL/No MS).

Also, I jumped on today to tell you that Brownells had butt plates...alas, I was wrong. I told my father about the butt plate situation and he tossed me a bag from brownells with a butt plate in it. Standard equipment, not a knock off. He said he had recently purchased it as a 'just in case' item. Anyway, I though I would have some $1.98 news for ya but when I checked Brownells just before emailing you, they were out of stock, too!

I have received all backordered parts except for the sear block.

I did get a sear block from S&W about 6 months ago. I ordered another one; and it's been on backorder for 2-3 months.
